"We ate here for lunch during our vacation and this restaurant is stellar. We both had the Mr. Vegan and Mrs. Veggie salad which was, quite possibly, the best salad I've had in my life. The salad cost EUR 18.00 and was well worth it."

"During high season in Annecy, key is, eat early every meal unless you love super super crowded venues. Annecy is like a manhattan traffic jam, however beautiful it is. Consider June or Sept to help avoid that. TAVERN FISCHER is a great choice for a meal. Great food. Service was very good. Fondue was a great share with 3. Try their local dishes. Great atmosphere as well. Location superb. I am always suspicious of the 'tourist' locations as this is right in the heart. They didnt dissapoint. Google or yelp the restaurants here. Very hit and miss. Boats are nearby for a pre/post meal cruise. Dont get the negative reviews. Food was quite good. Cost was below average actually considering superb location, clean, attentive, ambiance. There are many more places that nickel and dime you to death in Annecy, some even very rude as they overcharge you. Coming here was quite refreshing."

"Today I asked a waiter, “How come you only have a 3.6-star rating? I really don’t get it.” We’ve been coming here for the past 1.5 years – and we even drive over from Switzerland. We’ve been here five times, and every time it was excellent. Mussels – amazing, burger – amazing, half chicken – amazing, raclette – amazing, Café de Paris steak – better than at Café de Paris! And today I was truly positively surprised by the dessert. The crème brûlée was perfectly crispy on top with a delicious cream underneath. 5 out of 5! I really hope you receive more appreciation!"
